Classical Communications offers a wide range of repertoire for licensing and synchronization to the music and film industries, and digital downloads to the consumer – from early and sacred music, children’s and Christmas music to organ, folk and jazz.

Founded in 1998, Classical Communications is an independent British company run by Frances Sunderland. From the outset it quickly became known for quality releases on two contrasting labels: The Gift of Music and the Gramophone Award–winning Obsidian Records, which specialises in Early Music.

The company boasts a catalogue of around 500 titles over the two labels and has achieved millions of downloads of a breadth of classical repertoire as well as a rich offering of folk, world music, jazz, nostalgia and the spoken word.
